Fancy Circle Wallpaper

Circle Wallpaper

A Graphic Designer’s journey towards the center of concentric circles. My mind tends to wander when I travel on these roads.

This is a simple wallpaper that I originally created to add a little bit of beauty to my own home computer desktop. I added it to my deviant art page one day and a lot of people loved it. I guess there is really no reason why I can’t share it :)

Self Portrait Expression

KG Lew

Have you ever looked into the mirror and wondered who exactly was the person staring back from the other side? I have never really done any self portraits of myself before; but this piece could be an attempt at one.

I used Illustrator CS3 to re-create myself using vector shapes and just put something together quickly. The mouth is covered with “Don’t Speak” I guess in a way to ironically send out a message about how freedom of speech is not a right and can have consequences.

As a Graphic Designer; to me, this is a reflective piece of art. It is all gray scale, but I feel as though the illustration is powerful in its own way. This could be the start of a simple graphic design collection, or it could be a scrap of work to hit the back shelves. Hate it or Love it…. I love it.

playformore.org Layout Design

playformore

This is the Design Layout that I created for one of our partner sites “playformore.org“. They have an on-going project to raise money for Breast Cancer Research and they operate through an online poker affiliation. All you need to do to help out is sign up to partypoker.com with bonus code ‘WINFORMORE‘ and a percentage of commission will go towards Breast Cancer Research. The pink and white design inspired by women all around the world fighting hard.

I will likely re-design that website again in the near future to make it more SEO friendly.

One Year Millionaire Banner

One Year Millionaire

This is the banner that I created for my new blog titled ‘The One Year Millionaire‘. It is completely dedicated to helping normal people like you & me/ me & you make money online! Every second day I write a new article which is geared towards internet marketing and the different ideas surrounding it. So far we have reached over 50 great articles with tips on how you can make some extra profit from the internet.

The web site grasps certain topics such as search engine optimization, affiliate marketing & programs, link building and even paid to complete survey offers. Check it out if you want to learn about internet marketing!

For the banner I wanted to show people the bright side of making money on the internet. If you have seen other blogs or sites in this area they all show either fancy cars or mansions with nice swimming pools. The reason is that we like to provide our readers with a way to reach their dreams! By showing this type of imagery as a Graphic Designer I know that a lot of people will put 2 and 2 together. I used a simple color scheme involving greens, whites and browns to create the banner and it really sets the tone for the rest of the website!

If you ever have any questions about how I achieved a certain look or effect on one of my pieces, feel free to comment and ask me or even send me a short email. I love to hear from people!

Dead President Designs Banner

Dead President Designs

This is a concept design that I made before I created this website. I was playing around with a bunch of different ideas, but the Graphic Design “CMYK” color scheme was something that I really wanted to incorporate into my design.

The Graphic Elements on the banner are all very simple achieved with a mix of transparency and blending modes. The basis of this piece of work still remains strong on the colors and how they hit you right away when your eyes see them. CMYK ( Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is a term used for print media. These are the basic colors that are being mixed to create fantastic results. It is the 4-color printing process which describes the actual printing process accurately. CMYK is a subtractive color process as opposed to RGB (Red, Green, Blue) which is an additive color process. With CMYK; just think of a white background (like a sheet of paper) being masked by colors to create different results.

Anyways, this is the result of a few minutes of work and a basic idea of what I wanted to compose. I am going to be constantly adding pieces of work to this web site so be sure to keep checking back!
